1. Access from the Narita Airport
A. Through the Ueno station (the easiest option to the venue or Forest Hongo hotel):
Take the Keisei line Skyliner train from the Narita airport to the Ueno station (terminal) and either walk (20 min) or take a taxi (5 - 10 min, ~1200 JPY) to the University Campus Yayoi Gate (closest to the venue) and then follow on foot to the Koshiba Hall (see the campus map). If you use a taxi, you may wish to show the driver this information on your destination in Japanese.

B. Through the Tokyo station
Take the JR Narita Express (N'EX) Train OR the Airport Limousine Bus from the airport to the Tokyo station. From the Tokyo station, you can take a taxi (15 min, 2500 JPY) to the University Campus Yayoi Gate (closest to the venue) and then follow on foot to the Koshiba Hall (see the campus map). If you use a taxi, you may wish to show the driver this information on your destination in Japanese. Another option is to change at the Tokyo station to the subway Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line heading to Ikebukuro and get off at the Hongo-Sanchome station (10 min, 160 JPY). Then walk using the University Campus Akamon (Red) gate (10 min).

2. Access from the Haneda Airport
A. Using Limousine Bus
Take the Airport Limousine Bus to the Tokyo station. From the Tokyo station, you can take a taxi (15 min, 2500 JPY) to the University Campus Yayoi Gate (closest to the venue) and then follow on foot to the Koshiba Hall (see the campus map). If you use a taxi, you may wish to show the driver this information on your destination in Japanese. Another option is to change at the Tokyo station to the subway Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line heading to Ikebukuro and get off at the Hongo-Sanchome station (10 min, 160 JPY). B. Using Trains
(a) Tokyo Monorail Train Details
Take the Tokyo Monorail train from the Haneda airport to the Hamamatsucho station (terminal) and then either take a taxi to the venue (Japanese instructions) or to your hotel OR change to the JR Yamanote Line. Then you can change at the Tokyo station to the Metro Marunouchi
Line and go to the Hongo-Sanchome station. Optionally, you can ride the JR Yamanote line to the Ueno station and then take a short taxi ride. Please visit the

Tokyo Monorail and JR lines to get to the Tokyo or Ueno station.

(b) Keikyu Line Train Details
Take the Keikyu Line train to the Shinagawa station and change to the JR Yamanote Line to get to the Tokyo station or Ueno station and follow the above instructions to get to the venue.

3. Access from the Ryogoku Area (GEOSS AP Symposium venue)
By Toei Subway Oedo line from the Ryogoku station (Ryogoku area) to the Hongo-Sanchome station (Hongo area). From the Hongo-Sanchome station, please follow the instructions
given at the Hongo Campus Access Map (pdf). You may wish to refer to an
English guide on
how to ride the Toei Subway lines. The scheme of the subway routes is shown on the
Tokyo Subway Route Map (pdf).
Subway ride about 10 minutes (210 JPY), walking to the Koshiba Hall about 10 minutes.
4. Access from the Forest Hongo Hotel
On foot through the Main Gate of the Hongo Campus (see the map above).
